Public sauna and beach session
Description of the experience
Come meet and socialize with other sauna and cold water swimmers while relaxing in front of beautiful Lake Massawippi. The 75-minute experience allows for several sauna and bathing moments. Piknic tables are set up on site to enjoy the outdoor temperature.
- The sauna can accommodate up to 12 people
- Children accompanied by parents are welcome
- It is important to book the session in advance as we have a small capacity on site.
- During the booking process, you will be asked to open an account and sign the release. This process will facilitate the speed of registration upon arrival at the beach site.
- If there are no more places available, it is also possible to book a private sauna session
How does the reservation work?
- Advance reservation is required as we do not have a waiting room to accommodate many people
- It is necessary to create an account and sign the waiver before arriving on site. The objective is to make the reception efficient and smooth and to allow the participants to enter the sauna without having to fill in anything more.
- If you come with someone, we invite you to forward the reservation email to your guest so that this person can also create an account
Bathing
Swimming is allowed, but not supervised. When the lake freezes over, an opening in the ice and stairs will be maintained to allow participants to enjoy a hot and cold experience in the wilderness.
Swimming is not mandatory. All participants must sign a waiver which explains, among other things, that swimming is at the risk of each participant.

Café Mercantile
In partnership with Café Mercantile, we offer a sauna and cake package every Sunday at 3:30 pm. The package includes a sauna session followed by a piece of cake of the mercantile café’s choice accompanied by tea or hot chocolate. A Nordic tradition inspired by Scandinavian countries. Please note that the Café Mercantile is a 2 minute drive away.

We are located a few hundred meters
of the bicycle path. Combine your bike ride with a short and effective hot and cold session in our public sauna.

We are located near the Pub Vilandré. What could be better than enjoying a few good craft beers after a sauna session and a swim in cold water?
